I know it's been forever since i've posted anything here but I thought this was the best place to let a lot of people know a couple things.

It's official...i'll be moving back to the bay. Very soon in fact...my lease on the house that i'll be renting begins on June 13th and i'm hoping to move fully by the weekend after that. I'm really torn about the move...i'm looking forward to seeing all the awesome Antiochian folk again more regularly but i'll miss my good friends i've made in Chico.

I'll be moving to Discovery Bay in a 3 bedroom 2 bathroom house that's less than two years old. The house is gorgeous and in an great neighborhood, plus we are already friends with one of the neighbors. It'll be a sweet pad for parties and I fully intend on having a LAN party sometime in July.

Also it looks like i'll be having a housewarming/UFC pay-per-view party on July 5th. More details to come but if you'd like to come just let me know and i'll make sure you get the details.

Nothing is more relaxing than the combination of a violin, a piano, an electric guitar, and female vocals. Fucking nothing.

I won two tickets to the Van Halen concert on Tuesday night in Sacramento and would rather sell them that go to the show. I've got them listed on Craigslist and eBay but I thought i'd post it here too. The seats are second deck, second row. Face value of the tickets is $77.75 each, i'm asking $140 for the pair. The show is sold out so it's a pretty good deal. If anyone is interested I could meet you somewhere near Arco Arena before the event Tuesday, just let me know.

Now while I do not support our country's foreign policy and our place in Iraq, I do support and pray for our troops that are there. Penny Arcade said yesterday that the troops were going to be having a gaming "convention" called Ziggurat Con, where they would have a day to play nerdy games that are close to my own heart, and that they were looking for donations of gaming supplies. Although I can't really afford to donate right now, I at least wanted to show my support, and sent an e-mail to the soldier that is organizing the event. My e-mail was as follows:

Hello from California! I read about your upcoming convention in the war zone, and being a gamer myself I just wanted to write and say that the gamers back home all support and appreciate your efforts in everything that you have done in support of our country as well as in support of the Iraqi people. I wish I could do anything at all to contribute to your convention, however i'm not in a position myself right now where that is possible. I just wanted to thank all of you for all of your efforts, wish you all good health and safety during this tumultous time, and may your d20's roll high!
